The project
Varberg Energi was planning to launch a real-time meter, and I was tasked with creating mid-fi wireframes illustrating how it would be visualized in their app. There were two distinct aspects to be addressed:
- Wireframes for the configuration of the real-time meter.
- Wireframes for real-time consumption visualization.
The app
Varberg Energi is an energy company based in Varberg, Sweden. With the app, you can easily track your electricity usage and gain better control over energy costs. You can also monitor your charging station, solar panel production, and other flex-compatible products.
Method
Much focus was given to best practices in designing and researching how other companies in the market approached the matter. I also collaborated with developers to explore both the technical possibilities and limitations, particularly regarding the real-time meter configuration.
